Guest scores and detailed hotel feedback
Upon arrival, the room was very nice and clean, but it felt a bit enclosed and humid due to limited natural light. The service was friendly, but privacy concerns arose regarding financial information. The location was convenient to the beach and other areas, although a bit off the beaten track. The dining experience offered original dishes. Some facilities were under construction.
The hotel is in a convenient location in Fort Lauderdale down from The Reef, making it a nice spot for a spring holiday break. The rooms, though simple in appearance, were surprisingly decent and had the bonus of fully closing blinds in both the bedroom and bathroom. The service was exceptional, going above and beyond to upgrade our room due to my injured ankle, even though there was a slight sense of indifference towards other guests' needs and concerns. The location, while requiring some extra walking to meet our needs and reach the cruise terminal next day, was very spacious and great for a short walk to the beach and eateries. The lack of a dining experience was noted, yet the cured meat option was satisfactory. Overall, the facilities provided were satisfactory and accommodating.
The hotel had pros and cons worth considering. The rooms weren't blowing cold air, and some cleanliness issues were noticeable. However, the staff's efforts, especially Rafael, were commendable despite the inconvenience of offsite check-in. The location was close to the beach, though surrounded by construction. The dining options were limited to tapas, and there were both positive and negative aspects to the facilities.
The hotel is conveniently located right across from Fort Lauderdale beach, offering a great view and easy access to the beach. While the rooms are clean and basic, they lack color and decoration, giving a sterile feel. The service was friendly but somewhat busy with tasks from other properties, and the check-in location a block away was not very convenient.
I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel. It had everything I needed for a relaxing and enjoyable experience. The rooms were big, very clean, and equipped with all the essentials. The staff was amazing, although not always onsite, they were extremely friendly and helpful. The location was convenient, close to the beach and other attractions, but did require some walking and direction seeking. The dining options were limited, but I did enjoy the crepes. Overall, the facilities were top-notch.
